Placement Process
Your placement will be confirmed either before or during the course at the Academy. Using your CV and references as a source of information, our team will create a profile of yourself and will send this along with your photograph to our partner hotels in your chosen destination. Our partner hotels will then contact us with a request for a telephone interview between yourself and their human resources department. We would then forward the contact details and appointment for the telephone interview to you, and you would then call the prospective employer. Appointments for telephone interviews will be made 2 –3 days in advance so that you have time to prepare, nevertheless please keep in touch and check your emails regularly during the four weeks before your course starts.
Alternatively, telephone interviews might take place during your stay at the European Hotel Academy. In this case, appointments would be made for the prospective employers to call us at the office, and we would then pass the phone on to you.
The amount of job offers you get and subsequently the range of choice greatly depends on your level of experience in the trade. Other factors are seasonal fluctuations in the demand for new employees and the economic situation of the destinations. For this reason it is common for some applicants to have two or three telephone interviews and job offers while others only have one.
